Wagga Motel robbed by a Chubby Thief

THE same Ford Falcon sedan is believed to have been used as the getaway car in two thefts from Wagga businesses.
The first theft happened about 9.25pm yesterday when a man reached over be front desk of a Tarcutta Street motel and made off with cash.
The motel owner chased the man and said he was seen getting into a light-coloured Falcon with the number plates WPY 431.
The offender was described as a “chubby” build, possibly missing a tooth and about 170-180cm tall.
A second theft happened about 8am today at a North Wagga cafe.
Police say a man went to the cafe and demanded cash from a staff member, then reached over to take money from the till.
After a short scuffle with the staff member, the man ran away and a witness described him as having a solid build and getting to a light-coloured Falcon with WPY 431 number plates.
Police are urging business owners to be vigilant and avoid keeping cash on the premises.
