Motel Armed Robbery in Toronto, Lake Maquarie

Three men entered the motel and demanded money.They threatened staff with a firearm and fled the location a short time later with a cash box, containing cash. Witnesses gave chase but were unable to stop the men and they were last seen running along Awaba Road. No one was injured during the incident. Police were called and launched an investigation into the incident. Specialist officers also assisted in an extensive search of the surrounding area, but the group could not be found.

The men are described as being between 17-20 years of age, about 155-170cm tall and were last seen wearing dark-coloured clothing, balaclavas, hooded jumpers and gloves.

Detectives are continuing to pursue a number of lines of inquiry and urge anyone who witnessed the incident or has information that could assist investigators to come forward.
