We are a semi-retired couple with a broad background in hospitality and tourism, that are seeking temp/relief work as managers, reception or general staff within small accommodation providers, self-contained cabins and caravan parks.

We can offer you peace of mind that your business is in good hands while you take a well-earned break. Our background and experience has provided us with a broad skills and knowledge base, that covers owning and operating “Adjinbilly Rainforest Retreat Cabins” to conducting adventure based activities in Queensland and New Zealand.

We are great at problem solving, and can think outside of the box when it comes to ‘on the spot’ situations. Great communicators and with fantastic people skills we are keen to work and guarantee to put in 110% effort.

    • experienced working with booking sites
    • a professional, reliable and flexible
    • the ability to prioritise workload in a busy and professional environment
    • previous customer service/ managerial experience
    • OHS & risk management, maintenance and cleanliness are achieved and maintained
    • attending to necessary repairs and maintenance and improvement works to grounds, accommodation and facilities in a timely manner
    • ensuring that the grounds and gardens, accommodation and facilities are maintained and cleaned to a high standard and that the park is well-presented at all times
    • giving a high priority to the safety and security of guests, employees and park assets
    • rostering ancillary reception and cleaning staff as required within the budgeted guidelines
    • a sound knowledge of the relevant legislation
    • the ability to carry out company policies with efficient and appropriate procedures, documentation and record-keeping.
    • a keen willingness to learn
    • Although we are based in south-east Queensland travel is not an issue.
