We are currently traveling around Australia working as Relief Managers in Motels and Holiday Apartments, giving Managers a well deserved break knowing that their business is being well looked after. We take pride in our work, have strong work ethics and are very friendly with a caring disposition and a desire to deliver outstanding customer service so the guests will want to return.

Before we started traveling and working as Motel Managers, Allan had an extensive background as a home maintenance handyman, mechanical and electrical trades assistant with customer service and Carol had an extensive background in Bookkeeping using MYOB, customer service and computer programming, supervising staff, rostering, working to deadlines and finding solutions to problems.

As Motel Managers our experience has been running reception, checking guests in and out, answering enquiries via phone calls, emails and online booking sites, staff supervision, rostering, checking rooms, wages, petty cash, stock control, daily and weekly reporting, bar and barista, cooking breakfasts and dinners, cleaning, laundry and general maintenance of motel, grounds and pool.

We love the hospitality industry talking to and assisting guests to enjoy their stay. We also find it very rewarding, as it enables us to travel, meeting new and interesting people and seeing new and interesting sites. We are both very WH&S concious, work well under pressure, as this happens a lot in the hospitality industry, and good at problem solving and thinking outside the square when needed.
