I see what you are experiencing. I would find it most difficult to offer any estimation of how long or which channels a guest would watch. Perhaps by questionnaire ? Personally I would prefer NOT to have it but, our market place dictates it as a MUST have or guests bookings drop off. I recall a few years ago 4 or 5 of our boxes died and all I had was complaints of the limited channels to view. One party checked out because we did not provide the Boxing match he wanted ! With such a variety of guests tradies, sales, oldies, sports nuts, movie addicts & young ones I need more boxes so I can exploit all the channels offered to me, so I can satisfy all their wants. I am sure if pressed, Foxtel will offer you some amount as credit in compensation for the breakdown in service.
